Toby comes from 20+ years of experience in the equine assisted services industry spanning across multiple centers in Michigan and Kentucky.  She is currently the Program Manager at Central Kentucky Riding for Hope in Lexington, Kentucky and an adjunct instructor in the Occupational Science/Occupational Therapy program at Eastern Kentucky University.  Prior to her employment in the EAS field she worked as an occupational therapist in outpatient orthopedics, ergonomics and industrial rehabilitation.  She holds a masters in occupational therapy and is working towards her clinical doctorate.  Additionally, she is a PATH, International CTRI and holds specialty certifications in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation and hippotherapy.  She lives with her husband and step daughter on a grass-fed/grass-finished farm-to-table cattle operation in Stanford, Kentucky.  In addition to raising cattle, they also raise cowhorses and working stockdogs.  With her husband, she puts on ranch roping, cow working and stockmanship clinics.  She also has experience riding dressage, jumpers and five-gaited Morgans.
