Region 6 Leadership

Erika Berg is an Associate Professor of Animal Science at North Dakota State University where she oversees the minor in Equine Assisted Services and is the Program Director for NDSU Bison Strides. She teaches courses in equine physiology, current animal agriculture issues, and EAS with a research interest in the human-animal bond. She has been involved in the EAS industry since 1995 and is a , CTRI Advanced Instructor, PATH Intl. ESMHL, Mentor and Associate Evaluator. She previously served on the Riding Certification Subcommittee, held the position of ND State Chair and served as Treasurer on the Region 6 Leadership Team. She is also EAGALA Certified as an Equine Specialist. Email:
